It’s time for BIGGER and MORE!

No more shrinking ourselves out of fear, loneliness, or whatever it is that is causing you to mute yourself or play smaller than your BIG a** grand self.

Everyone can’t go where you’re headed. Everyone can’t stay by your side at this point in your journey. Some of the people you are trying to hold on to are holding you back from being able to take off and take flight.

You know who these people are.

They are the people who do not resonate with who you are, who you are becoming, what you’re doing, and where you are trying to go. They are the people who don’t speak your language. They are the people who you have to hide parts of yourself from to make them feel comfortable being around you. They are the people who try to convince you that mediocrity and the status quo is not as bad as you think it is.

There is a space for everyone. Some people want you to stay in spaces that are familiar to them for their comfort. It makes some people (lots of people) very uncomfortable when others are not conforming to social and communal norms. Like I said, there is a space for everyone. And the space others are just fine staying in may be the space that you are just fine being without.

I’m not saying you need to cut these people off. I can’t determine that decision for anyone else. But you do need to establish balance. Instead of shrinking yourself, make them expand.

Have the conversations. Talk about the things that fill you with purpose and happiness.

Only you know who you need to let go, who you need to set certain parameters with, and who to keep in a specific sub-section of your life.

No more shallow connections. It’s time to go deep.
